Single Participant Youth Program
Single Participant Youth Programs are intended for any youth interaction involving two or fewer participants. This includes but is not limited to youth involvement in labs, workshops, classes, etc.
In order to host a single youth participant for research or experience in:
- An office setting
- Laboratory
- Workshop
- Classroom
- Any TAMU based youth experience for 1 or 2 youth
Faculty must apply and be approved for Single Participant Youth Programs. You will be required to follow all sections of the University CPM Rule. If this is your first time hosting, please contact your CPM Liaison or University Youth Programs.
The Faculty/Staff Application will allow programs to begin on or after June 1st through the following year (Ex: June 1, 2024-May 31, 2025).
Please use the link below to access the application. Select from the organization drop down TAMU SPYP (College Name) or TAMU SPYP – Single Participant Youth Program if yours does not appear.
The Parent/Youth Application is available for youth wishing to work in a research, laboratory, workshop, classroom, etc experience. This application must be completed by the parent. Once approved, the respective college will help connect your child with the appropriate faculty/staff member for this experience.
To participate in laboratory or workshop opportunities, your child must be at least 15 years of age at the start of their experience
